(In fact a few others don't have items in their wishlist either. Is there any specific reason why some people just don't add items? i.e. Owning the whole store already? Or maybe there is a way to make a list private?)

...Oh and I did witness a random member on the Store General discussion begging for Lucky Palms. I was truly appalled. I know it made a lot of people VERY upset. Someone ended up gifting him, so I see what you mean about perpetuating the cycle.
That's just crazy talk. I may not fully understand gifting, but I know better than to ask for something that would cost someone that much money! I got the standard version because I'd already gotten the casino but it still worked out to like $24, I believe. Worth it for me, but for some random person popping up for the first time... erm, no. :lol:
