@Zei - Good Lord, No! I keep the images and information about my Sims in a file on my PC for reference to make future plans with, their actual files and back-ups are stored on an external drive. I play this game using the folder method which means I have many different libraries as each world is contained in its own game file.
@Dijktafone - 45GBs of Sims is a LOT of Sims :D! I don't know what my actual Sim count (in storage space) would be because of how I catalog and store them. Also, because I save them (export the same Sim or household) at key times during various stages of their development.
