household members not appearing on party guest list
hello everyone! ^.^ it's been forever since i've been on these forums but i just recently got back into playing the sims 3. i have a lot of cc content installed but i don't think that matters in this case, it's the nraas mods i have installed that are causing problems i believe. i seriously can't play without them tho so uninstalling them is out of the question unless that's the only option.
i created a family that i've been playing with for the past week and i decided that i wanted one of my sims to propose to his girlfriend who isn't a part of my active household. my active household consists of said sims two closest friends and three others that he is also good friends with. i waited a bit after the proposal and then decided to throw my sim a bachelor party when the game prompted me to. i used the phone to go through with it and first, a nraas menu came up that i didn't really mess with. i believe it was just to change the order/organize the members on the contact list. i didn't mess with it and so the game brought me to the regular party planning menu. immediately i noticed every sim in the city including strangers was on the contact list. the sims friends were there too, but the sims living in my active household did not show up at all (including his two closest friends and all that stuff) just his friends from work and stuff.
i went back to the nraas menu that popped up when i tried throwing the party and selected the option to only show family members on the contact list. it canceled the action and said he didn't know any sims well enough to throw a party. i dont freaking get it!!!!! x.x i ended up throwing the bachelor party at his house so that his close friends could still attend. but it's been over a week in game and i want to throw his wedding party at the beach or something, NOT his house. i seriously want to be able to invite everyone else in the household and it's driving me CRAZY because they still don't come up in party planner contact list. i've had nraas mods when i used to play but i don't remember having these problems. idk, maybe im missing something really obvious? hopefully someone here on the forums will know what to do. this happens for ALL party types, and i've also tried using other sims in the household to throw the party but it still didn't work. if i really really have to, i may try removing nraas mods and seeing if that helps (but i really dont want to >.<) and plus my sims game takes like 45 minutes to load up cuz of all my cc, i'm only going through two hours to see if that works as a last resort if nobody else knows what to do.
