How do I contact EA?

My sims 3 game in steam opens the launcher, says a error happened and closes the launcher when I click okay. I repair the game, it says 3 files are missing, downloads something, run repair game again, it says 3 files are missing, downloads something, and it repeats the above over and over.

I deleted my sims 3 folder in documents and reinstalled my sims 3 games in both origin and steam, the folder is still empty.

I bought every EP and SP when they came out in origin, including the Katy Perry SP. The base game is all that loads in origin. I recently (last week) bought the base game and all the EPs and SPs in steam because I wanted to play my game with all the packs. I have been trying to get the game with all my packs to work in both origin and steam. I had it working in steam then the store said I had my store packs (I had bought years ago) available, after downloading and installing the store packs through the launcher, sims 3 steam game broke. Btw, I owed everything in the store also.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both games several times, so much so that I now download in bytes speed due to going over my allotted downloads. Both games are not installed at the same time.

My specs are.

Nvidia geforce gtx 970
Intel I7-6700k
Windows 10
lots of ram - can't figure out how to find computer specs due to windows 10 hiding everything.
  • You can reach EA support through the Customer Support link that is at the bottom of each page on this forum (on full sized browser windows). But honestly, for something technical like this rather than a user account issue, you will be much more likely to get a positive experience by posting on the TS3 Answers.HQ tech board. There are helpers there who are well-versed in these Steam vs. Origin issues, whereas otherwise you might caught in a "It's not our problem, call the other guys" loop between EA and Steam.

It sounds to me though that you do have elements of an Origin and a Steam install in place at the same time, at least in the Windows Registry if not more readily apparent. I would suggest uninstalling TS3 entirely, both versions as they are not mutually compatible, clean the Registry by way of Piriform's CCleaner (the free version is fine) or your favorite Registry cleaner if you aren't already doing that, and start fresh with no install, no game folder, and proceed on one platform or the other exclusively.
  • Thank you. I think I have cleaned sims 3 out of my computer. It'll be a couple of days before I know if it's fixed due to my download speed.
