I used a laundromat once in a save. I should do it more because it's really a neat idea/experience for our sims. :) In RL I've always been so spoiled with owning a washer and dryer... so have my sims apparently. I've only been to a RL laundromat twice to wash a giant blanket. They have vending machines and TVs in the one next to my house. I ended up just putting a single vending machine in my sims laundromat since it was kinda small.
