- i see you are one of those that can handle CC casually - take it or leave it. or when you say you will stop you do!
sorry :D im a serious CC hoarder- its simply an uncontrollable need for more goodies. so each time i play i first load up with some new stuff - which is around 200 mb per session. im currently somewhere in the 20 gb range.
when i played sims 2 i had a dell that took 2 hours to load a game, not kidding, because the processor was so slowed down by my CC. if i took out the CC it loaded in like 10 minutes.
when i selected my current computers for sims 3 i didnt just select components to run the game smoothly but to run smoothly with too much stuff - so i can at least say my load time for a game is less than 5 minutes even with all of this stuff.
- SamiKat211 years agoNew AdventurerLike ceejay, I confess to being a cc hoarder. I don't even know how much I have, though it is rather well-organized. Besides the hundreds of items that I have installed, I have levels of cc yet to be installed that are kept on a second computer apart from my gaming system: One level of items on the desktop that I want to get into my game sooner rather than later and then many folders of cc categorized by type on a separate hard drive. I download more every day, though I am trying to be more discerning.
It is quite likely that I will never install everything that I have downloaded. It would take forever just to run it all through Custard and Dashboard. - I'm not a cc addict. Everyone has 5.89 GB in their downloads folder and 2.99 GB in their Mods folder. I don't have a problem.
I love CC. I love CC make up and hair and shoes. And there are cute little deco objects and paintings that I use to make my homes more appealing.
Even with my huge cc files my game only takes two minutes to load. Well five now since I installed ITF. - AMariseS11 years agoNew ScoutJust the twallan statue. Nothing else & I won't use the Exchange because I'm afraid of CC. I'm a chicken.

LOL, right? I can't stop!
According to my back-up storage of CC I have 2.2 gigs.- 3.5GB in packages and another 2GB in downloads
I get a bit carried away with CC. There's so many gorgeous items out there on the net and I'll often loose a whole evening browsing sites I've dug up by searching for one particular item  My Sims 2 CC was even more ridiculous. I don't think I could cope with a vanilla Sims game anymore! - Um... bout 10gb.
- I have quite a bit, my packages folder is about 800-900MB. But it's all merged so it's not that bad loading wise. I try to limit myself, but my weakness is decor and clutter and every time my favorite creators release something new I'm like:

Tons of store content too.
It's not having a big impact on my game. It's not like my whole town is loaded with CC. Just the sim's I play. - carlydunham11 years agoRising Ace13GB lol which is 7700 packages and sims 3 packs and thats all of it compressed too my game runs perfect no lag or anything load in seconds but i do have a gaming pc
