How to buy a sims 3 world from the store?

Johnnydeppgirl  The best route is to buy the world through the website, for example:

https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-3-worlds-bundle

You should receive an email confirmation that includes one code per item.  (Make sure your address is receiving emails from EA in general, or that you can dig them out of the spam filter.)  Register these on the Sims 3 Store site, not in the EA App, for best results.  Sign into the site with the same credentials you use in the EA App, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Redeem a Code.

You can buy a world  along with expansion packs through the EA app.

If that doesn't work for you then you got a big issue with EA. You can't work around the EA app.

Puzzleaddict, yeah, that is the route Im going with. Im planning to buy a world with money, and I have heard that it is difficult. So Im wondering how to buy a world with money?

There are a few complications with registering worlds bought directly with money (not with SimPoints), so if this is the route you're going, please check in before actually spending the money.  It's a lot easier than having to deal with EA customer support after the fact.

You can use Simpoints and buy the world directly from the site. It should download into your launcher right away.

Log into the EA app and purchase it there.
