How To Install Store Items

What if I don't have an entire Compilation but only parts of it, do I need to individually download those parts from the Comp? Or do I click the link the item is from and download it from there instead (especially if it's an entire set within a comp) (As long as there is no intention to ever get the entire compilation) I don't see what to do with the Gentleman's Lounge Collection, but I assume since that contains various parts from other sets that it'll all be there and there is no point in getting them from the Gentleman's Lounge Collection?
For example the Nov 2011 Compilation Set I don't own. But due to having got the Gentleman's Lounge and the Eloquently Eclectic Collection I have the Fissile Material End Table and Hydro Fission Aquarium.
Also once I started the game for the first time, In the DCCache it made two files "dcdb4.ebc.tmp" and "dcdb6.ebc.tmp" is that normal?
