How to lower fps?
Hopefully someone can help me? I desperately NEED to lower the fps when I play sims 3. It hits about 170fps max. and maybe 60 fps min. I have tried pretty much everything. My laptop has a NVIDIA G...

Would it be within your means to sell or "trade-in" this laptop, it's I am sure not useless for other purposes, and buy a new one that is more suitable?
I could try I guess, I've never been any good at selling things or knowing how to trade things in properly. It was on sale for £750 from £1,000 so I'd hope to get at least £500 for it especially as it's brand new - been used a handful of time but I know how people get silly when it comes to '' second hand'' goods so likely wont get more than £300 which I imagine is nowhere near what is needed for the right laptop I'd need.
