How to lower fps?

@phoebebebe13 I didn't realise it was only for if your laptop will overheat or crash or run out of space if you have sims, not for that and also if the image will be poor or colours will be really bad or the screen won't be able to display features how they should because of the poor quality or it'll lag or idek what. I just thought any tech questions that are being asked because the person wants to know if that tech will be beneficial for a simmer was something that was acceptable. My mistake, but now I know I guess.

I've got it in my head that its better to get i7 because overtime there will be more sims games as the franchise is expanded and they will require stronger and stronger hardware. Is that a fair assumption or am I completely off the mark here. Or once again is this something that I can't ask here?

Thanks for the help. I'll just leave this discussion after the above is clarified then. I imagine that's what I'm supposed to do now.
