How to set the front door of NPC lot?

You can set a front door on any lot with NRaas DebugEnabler. Click on the door and select NRaas > DE > Options > Door > Set Front Door. Keep in mind the door has to be "eligible" to be a front door, with the same requirements as on your sims' home lot; the option won't show up if it's already set as the front door.

Can't this also be done with testingcheatsenabled and a shift-click on the ground of the inactive's lot to enter Build/Buy without having to retreat to Edit Town?

Yes, it can. :smile: I do it all the time. I'm a micro-manager who interferes with every neighbor's house and community lot that my sims come across.

@skybaker I take it that you mean "how to set the front door of the inactive townies houses", not the NPC's since they don't have any lots or houses, they just float around in cyberspace until the game decides that they're needed for something or other.

I tried this out a little bit today, and the result can be seen below:

Or if you don’t have Nraas installed you can go to edit town, find the NPC’s house and edit their place by going into buy and build mode. There you may then select on the door you want to set as front door and then it should automatically reset when you exit edit town.
