- This attraction moodlet that came with the seasons expansion is really annoying me too,i havent had two sims of the same gender attracted to each other yet but my married couples sometimes meet new sims they want to just befriend while out at the park and the moodlet will pop up that they are attracted to each other and they get wants to kiss a certain sim they just met and also keep getting love letters sent to them in the mail from these same sims wanting to go out on a date and just openly encouraging my sims to cheat.

Your Sims can't do romantic stuff by themselves. I've only seen that at the Prom in Generations.
They most certainly can. I've had several of my sims autonomously flirt with sims who aren't their spouse/boyfriend/whatever. Sometimes I leave it, but usually I stop them before it gets out of hand. It seems like with Uni, they seem to be more inclined to do things with free will on high. I've since had to turn it down because I always find them doing something other than what I tell them to do.brookesaywhatx wrote:

Agreed. My sims will even "try for baby" on their own.
OP: Mods fix this. As a poster above mentioned, Twallan's SP and MC have lines to set for the demographics of the town, and you can effectively "turn off" homosexuality. I know it works because I use it myself in my game, and it does the trick just fine.- stilettoblack13 years agoSeasoned VeteranI had to stop my girl sim several times from flirting with my female genie while they were at the movies last night. She didn't even know the Genie! If I hadn't been watching, she would have done it.
- My Sim and his wife had a couple over at their house, and the girl started flirting with the wife right in front of her husband.
- Weird, most of my sims are straight. I've got a couple of townies that are gay and they're already in a relationship and very monogamous- even had one male sim slap another male when he flirted, then when I checked out the household he had a boyfriend.
Maybe it's cos you have free will on high or something? I've never heard of sims being romantic at work either. - FrayedFlight13 years agoNew TravelerI think a built in slider or "preference" option would really be best here, I don't think those who want, or don't mind autonomous homosexual relationships should be forced to download a mod to enable it (as if homosexuality is somehow more "deviant" in the game than heterosexual *rollseyes*), any more than I think people who don't want their active sims engaging in sexual activity or relationships opposed to their preference (If they have one) should be "forced" into it.
Now, with that being said, I definitely don't think sims in the active household should be getting into autonomous relationships with ANYONE, regardless of gender. It should be 100% player initiated for anything past flirting. Kalphoenix wrote:

Then why don't you just turn off free will or turn it to low? I don't understand what your complaint is here... of course your Sims will live their life on high free will, which may or may not include relationships.- gameking9517313 years agoNew Scout

I've fallen victim to making my sims' lives dramatic with some affairs. But when I do decide to have a committed relationship, the constant letters can be annoying. Although I can't complain about the free gifts ;)
