I discovered a secret tomb under the ruins on that Island in Champs Les Sims!

In all the years I've been playing The Sims 3 and sending sims to Champs Les Sims, I never knew this was there. It doesn't seem to be part of an adventure,  it has several levels, it's a complicated maze of  passageways and doors,  it uses no keystones, and it has the coolest looking dive well I've ever seen. It's like a cool easter egg that I've overlooked all this time.  It's accessed through a stairwell to the west of the cemetery. The stairwell is blocked by stones that have to be removed either by the mystical axe from Shang Simla or using a delete cheat.  It's a cool find!

Sketch793  True, you can use the teleportation pad, but (without cheating, at least), you can only place it on a lot your sims own, which means a vacation home and a level 3 visa anyway.  I don't know how the Eyes of Horus work because I've never tried, but can you drag one of them out of inventory and place it on a lot far away from your sim?

@puzzleaddict It isn't an adventure - I got a bit carried away with that statement - sorry about that.  But there is a way to get there by completing another tomb.  World Adventures was released before we had boats in the game so initially the only way to get to the island without completing the huge tomb near the little fishing hole was to teleport across and that would have meant using a cheat or getting a lot of happiness points and buying the teleporter.

@puzzleaddict there are a lot of grapes to be found in that tomb near the little fishing hole. You just need Pangu's Axe to get to it.

I don't remember exactly how they work but that's close. I think you drag one eye to a nearby floor or wall, and drag the other eye to a floor or wall where you want to go, then click on the one close to you. It's a good idea to put them back in your inventory right away, so you don't lose them or forget where you put them. They can save you a lot of travel time and even get you into places that are normally unreachable.

Or, since World Adventures is the thing in play, mastering the meditation skill gained by learning the Martial Arts skill, to a point where they levitate, which they can then use to zen-teleport. I usually have at least one of my sims taking advantage of that to get out of or past traps, usually an older sim who had plenty of time on their hands to practice it, or a third wheel sim who sits there practicing meditation while the main sims do the fun puzzles getting through the maze and collecting, which by that time, they've levitated and zen-teleported up to or past them.

  • You mean this Tomb ...

Of course, if you get the Level 3 Visa and are going for the grapes ... Just build a mansion in France ...

Build a Garden and Nectary in the back corner of the lot ...

Do a little painting in your free time ... The light is wonderful there ... 😆

World Adventures is Awesome ... Lots to do, and many directions to go. With a little effort and planning, you can have lovely houses in all the locations and spread out your activities. You can get to know the people in the different locations, throw parties, take pictures and run the tombs. Eventually ... You can take fruits from all the worlds and make the highest quality nectars.

For instance ... The nectar with the highest value in production, and that will gain value the fastest in your cellar ... Doesn't even have grapes in it ... It's made with Pomegranates (from Egypt) and Life Fruit.

Anyway ... Glad to see y'all are still playing and having fun ... Happy Simming  ... ❤️
