Just a short one today...
Rowan barely slept all night...he just sat in bed not even bothering to get into his pajamas..

He had nothing much to get up for...but dragged himself sleepily out of bed.

Rosie had not shown up for two days...Rowan was getting mad, he was sick of being treated like she hated him, it confused him because there were moments of kindness, he wish she would make up her mind either hate him or like him!

Jasper had also not shown up, Rowan was so lonely and very much wanted someone...anyone to talk to. He went over to the door to do his morning lock check- jiggled the handle and to his surprise he heard Jasper's voice just outside the door..."Rowan, Rosie is over my house with Edward....I'm coming in."

"Are you doing okay, is Rosie being nice to you?"
"Rosie hasn't been to see me in two days..." Rowan spat out.

Jasper looked shocked but decided to not say anything..."Rowan, I'm really sorry I couldn't visit for the past couple of days Rosie has been hanging around our house all the time wanting to play, I think she has a crush on my brother.." Jasper was trying his best to change the subject, inside he was fuming at Rosie.
"What's a crush?" Rowan asked curiously..

"It's when you secretly like someone, and you hope they like you back" he told Rowan, it was his best 12 year old explanation.
"Hmmmm, that sounds like it would be nice..." Rowan mused deep in thought.

"For me, really??" Jasper loved the happy look on Rowan's face, the poor boy looked perpetually sad most of the time, not that Jasper blamed him a bit. Jasper decided he wanted to try and make Rowan as happy as he could under the unusual circumstances.

"I'll be careful...I promise.." With that he gave Rowan a hug goodbye.
