So I heard that the Sims 3 exchange is the worst place to download from. But I really like the clothes,hair,etc.I don't download lots or Sims, because that is bad and i know that. But how bout the clothes and stuff? Also, I downloaded tons and tons of cc from The Sims Resource. But people say that the site has bad viruses and there is things in the cc that can steal your information. I always do virus scans right after I download. Nothing shows up. I also have a ad-block add on in chrome which is the browser I use to download. I also use delphy's dashboard. Nothing shows up. Also, on The Sims Resource (TSR) I downloa from the most popular and featured artist since I know if millions have downloaded it, then it must be safe. i would never trust sims resource honestly i never used cc for sims 2 but for sims 3 i would certainly not use tsr mod the sims and someone has been posting links about different sites

I've been using TSR since getting Sims 3 in December and haven't had any problems. I also use modthesims and http://simshairs.com/ for hair.I don't trust the Exchange. I downloaded some sims and ended up with some very sketchy content.I also check all sims3pack files with CUSTARD and used Dashboard after installing package files.

The Exchange doesn't have malware or viruses in the CC or on the site. :shock:

The exchange is in thesims3.com and bad cc can attach itself to items simmers upload.I assume the op fixed the issue for themselves since this was back in 2014
But if your still having issues you can visit answers.ea for help or make a thread in the technical help section :) so people know it’s a recent issue.
