Hello, wondering if anyone has encountered this glitch in their game and hopefully found a fix? I try throwing a party and no matter which hour I pick (even Saturday morning) I get the message "It's too late for kids to attend this party" when I try to invite kids. It happens even with slumber parties so I can't even throw one. The problem is persistent with multiple saves in multiple worlds. When I searched for the glitch on the forums, I saw threads from 2013, 2014 etc but they didn't have any solutions in them, sadly. So I decided to open the brand new 2020 thread hoping to get some helpful answers. o:) If anyone has any ideas, kindly share along!Edit: Quick update for simmers coming across this thread in their searches for the same bug, a "no curfew" mod was causing it, I removed it and now my parties can have kids in them. :)

Have you tried removing any mods you may have? Did you try different sims as in a different family?

The point of removing all mods (or some huge subset of them) while troubleshooting things like this is not so you can play your game forward with no mods at all. It's meant to help identify which mods, or which combinations of mods, might be causing the problem and one needs to find/start from a point where the parties actually work as they should.

You were right!!! I removed only the Curfew mod and it really was the culprit... I'm so happy to have resolved this. Now if I only I could get my game to load properly as before. :(

I'm glad you were able to find it.Like @igazor mentioned, its always best to take the mods folder out and put your mods back one or two at a time and see if any of them caused it.

What happens when you try to load it? You getting "Missing Objects" warning?

Slight correction there. The folder you meant to specify is called DCBackup. Not DCCache, that's very different. There is no such thing as DCCache Backup. :)

@Zei do you use story progression mod? Somewhere in the settings you can disable which days curfew is for, I disabled it for fri and sat.But you could do all if you wanted to

IIRC, I still had gotten a warning pop-up message about the curfew and the go home action spontaneously showed up in the kid's queue, but I was able to cancel it. They stayed out all night and no popo ever showed up. And I was still able to have slumber parties.
