Kate Part 21:
I realized my age up of Kate was a bit inaccurate to my overall vision of the story, here is the new teenage Kate, not much different just a little more weight and her glasses are added.
Jared couldn't find Riley anywhere since Jared had told him to stay away from Kate's house earlier that morning. Riley figured his father's (Connor) wishes trumped his uncle's (Jared) so he took off for his favorite spot in the whole Universe, Kate's house.
Riley really wanted to get a jump on his Sim Fu, Kate went to watch...
He was doing great till he wacked himself in the face!
Kate jumped and asked if he was okay, giving him a hug to make him feel better..
Something felt weird in Riley's stomach, he felt nervous when Kate hugged him this time, she had hugged him millions of times over the past 13 years...what was going on, he wondered...he dared hug her again.
He wanted to do it again....
Just then a very peeved Uncle Jared decided to show up! "Why are you here Riley, I told you to stay away from their house and them!"
"Why all of a sudden do you not want to let me visit my best friend?" Riley yelled right back.
"Her mother is a monster, she probably is too!!" Jared huffed.
Kate was speechless, she couldn't move, she was completely stunned.
Erika heard what was going on and ran outside...
"Jezuz Jared, I didn't break up with you to be mean, I broke up with you to save you years of grief, I don't love you, right now I don't even Like you!"
"But I love you Erika, that should be enough..."
"Jared, You'll find someone much better for you than me, she is out there, you really are a nice guy, when you're not screaming"
Jared then made a really dumb move...
"Jared, I think you should leave..." Erika whispered. He reluctantly left....
Riley had no idea what to do so he left too.

Two years ago Thornton had decided he needed to go see a therapist and get his life in order, everything was falling apart he needed to get things straitened out.
His Therapist Dr. Thompson told him he should probably stay clear of Erika for awhile as seeing her with Jared was just going to tear Thornton in two. Thornton reluctantly agreed, he even told Vlad he could go back to Bridgeport if he wanted, Vlad decided to stay in town, he had a few new jobs in town and was still hiding out from his ex Elvira.
Dr. Thompson..
Thornton was quite a messed up guy when he first started seeing her...
He was still dreaming about Erika constantly....
But after a year and a half he finally made a breakthrough, and felt more at peace with himself. After 6 more months he felt like he was fine to leave therapy for good.
He said a farewell to Dr. Thomson and promised he would be back if his life wound up in shambles again.
Thornton went down to the beach he felt like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders, he needed to see Erika.
First a quick text to tell her he needed to talk to her.
He spotted her through the window, his heart started thudding...he hadn't really seen her for two years, though Kate gave him updates on her whenever he dared ask. He saw Kate all the time.
All he could say to her was "I'm so sorry..." That was all that was needed.
All she could say was "I forgive you..." and she meant it.
He was never going to let her down or let anyone break them apart ever again...

Thornton's dad had been having much better luck in the love department for the past two years, he and Elizabeth were catching up on many many years of lost time.
They took to skinny dipping when Thornton wasn't home, it was their secret fun time.

Riley also got a tiny eye makeover, since his all black alien eyes changed to humanish when he aged up to teen I decided to give them more color.
Riley called his dad and asked if he could sleep over Kate's house, Connor was confused as to why he was actually asking as he hadn't asked since he turned 12. Riley told him about Jared, Connor said he would have a talk with him.
Kate tried to make breakfast for her and Riley, it came out about as edible as charcoal...
Riley being a gentleman told her she was a great cook!
Another nervous stomach hug...and he noted that Kate smelled really good...like vanilla. What in the world was going on with his brain, he decided it was some strange alien brain damage...
Riley inherited his love of playing the piano (in his undies) from his father, he thought that might bring him back to reality...

I caved and got Kate a cat, named Cleo...
Cleo has a "thing" for the neighborhood raccoon, who I lovingly dubbed Francine.

It appears Noah and Lilah are very close twins...!
Noah jamming...looks like I'm going to have a band pretty soon! Noah, Riley and Colby all guitar freaks.
