Thornton asked Erika if she still had that dress from her 18th Birthday, Erika said she did, Thornton asked her to put it on and they were going to take a drive down to the beach.
They got there and it was like a flashback...

Nothing had changed about Erika's feelings for Thornton though...
He was just as enamored with Erika as he had been back then...
and wanted her by his side forever...
"Erika, I've loved you for a long time and would be honored if you would be my wife"
Erika of course answered with a big "Yes!!"
It was the happiest moment in both of their lives...
They sat on the beach just talking like they used to when they first met.

They were tired from a long day but it appears they both had each other and the wedding on their minds..
