Hi, to find a laptop with all those specs that costs near $500 would be impossible. Do you absolutely need a 17" screen that a 15" couldn't satisfy? The ideal amount of RAM you need is 6GB, and unless you absolutely need 1TB of space, 500GB-750GB would be good enough, especially since most of your money should be focused on a strong graphics card to be able to play medium-high settings.

Here are some things to look out for:
- a graphics card that is strictly NVIDIA or Radeon
- minimum of 6GB RAM
- minimum of a 2.4GHz processor (be sure to read the turbo boost)
thank you. I thought i would need a 1 TB HD cause i make sims 3 movies and towns and also add other games. I need a 17" screen cause i have low vision and not sure if a 15" makes a little or huge difference so i thought it best to stick with 17" your links did help a lot though :) waiting to find out if i get a amazon store card then i'll know my budget makes finding a laptop much easier now though. So i'm guessing a Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphic card will not work? like this
