Little avatars not matching up with elder faces

I noticed after my Sim Marie turned to elder, the little avatar of her face didn't change. It still showed her as being younger. Next time I logged in, the avatar on the left with the household member...

Probably not a serious problem as @Sindocat says. Are you clearing (deleting) the five top level cache files in the TS3 user game folder in Documents before starting up the game each time?
