Been reading through NRaas, there's probably something there, but the content NRaas modifies is so completely overwhelming I can't find anything other than what I was reduced to doing already, just info on how to delete them once they spawn.
My problem is for all but a couple of my games I want the stuff from Pets without the pets. I micromanage powergame my sims (building skills and relationships) and don't have time for the headaches that come with dealing with a pet, plus other sims' pets and the wild/strays bog down my game, even if my sim doesn't have a personal pet. Wild horses overrun my towns in no time, even if "Horses" isn't checked in my Options, they're EVERYWHERE.
The game must count pets as sims because Overwatch gives notification when a pet (tame or wild) is "unroutable" the same as when a human sim is unroutable. As a result my towns empty out of human sims over time, I guess to make room for the growing mass of pets. Not good. NRaas said the game only spawns 2 deer. Really? Then why were 4 deer (1 buck, 2 doe, 1 young) devouring the plants in my special park in one of my games? If only one racoon spawns, that sucker sure gets around, because I see it everywhere.
hmmmm... you could say I'm no fan of the "pets" part of the Pets expansion. LOL
