Which lighting mods update the brightness?

I'm so used to the consistent brightness in The Sims 4.... Everything is so dark in The Sims 3. The shadows are very contrasting to the light, and I can't see the ground outside at night. It's very dark compared to TS4.

I'm interested to know which mod you ended up choosing @ohmyohmy? I'm using brntwaffles Frozen mod and I love how saturated everything is but I'm also new to modding the game in this way and super interested in seeing everybody's different choices/what they think.

In TS4 I use reshade to to make things more colourful and bright. I've been wondering if it works with TS3 as well. Anybody know?

@Sharonia I haven't used it myself, but I've seen people on social media talking about using reshade so I'm assuming you can use it!

reShade is like a filter more than anything but yes, you can use it with Sims 3. :) I have a love-hate relationship with it since it can tank game performance depending on the version, settings used, + game.

Reshape makes my game crash while loading :(
