- Deliciously Indulgent Bakery
- I'd get the Serenity Retreat and the Stones Throw Greenhouse, on the Daily Deal for 513 and 760 points, respectively. The Serenity Retreat lot is certainly nice, and it comes with the massage table, plus a couple other decorative items I enjoy putting in my sims' houses.
The greenhouse comes with greenhouse roof pieces, naturally, which can also be used elsewhere for an interesting look. It's also involved in a weird calculation where if you own it, the compilation it's part of becomes trivially cheap when the compilation is on the Daily Deal. So you could get all this stuff:

for... I think someone said it was another 100-200 points? And there's a lot of good stuff in the compilation.
Whatever you do, don't pay full price—most of the sets are on sale at one point or another, and usually at least 50% off. - karritz3 years agoLegendThe greenhouse is the one I use in every game. But I combine it with items from the Al Fresco market. I often put the market in my games too.
The bakery is another one I use most games but it can be stressful if you don’t have NRAAS cupcake mod.
Serenity Retreat has some nice items with it but I rarely use it. I got it by buying the gold version of Sunlit Tides.
Whatever venue you buy it will be made with Base Game items plus the new items that come with that venue only. Therefore they all usually are most useful if personalised by addition of other useful items.
I have all of the venues and most of them never get placed in my games but I use the items that come with them on a regular basis.
One other venue I enjoy without much of an upgrade is the Gothique Library. I just add a few extra bookcases that contain skill books. A lot of people strip it of it’s books and use it as a house for their sims to live in.
