- Unfortunately I think Microsoft has to keep supporting 32-bit for a while due to businesses still having tons of legacy programs that rely on it (believe me I unironically like this for my job tho). But how much harder can it be to upgrade the version of your game that isn't a horrible Mac port?
I don't think the legacy installs of TS3 will necessarily die anyways. Even forgoing illegal means of getting the game/older manual installs of it, there's the example EA wanted to make TS4 64-bit only and their model was to still provide the 32-bit one, even if wouldn't be updated. And TS3 is not a constantly-updated game any more. - MidnightAura866 years agoSeasoned Ace

This. My sims 3 runs great on patch 1.67. I have no complaints. Unfortunately my sims 2 is tied to origin through the last sims 2 patch and I bitterly regret patching it because when Origin decided to not let me log in for nearly a month I couldn’t play my games. - simmyfroggy6 years agoSeasoned Ace@Sk8rblaze https://support.aspyr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000214186-MacOS-Catalina-64-bit-32-bit-and-related-Questions this list doeosn't mention the TS2 Super Collection so I'm guessing it'll be okay on Catalina.
It'd be nice if EA allowed Aspyr to complete the collection though. "mw1525;c-17267608" wrote:

^I second Amen that!
I just got Origin free by doing only disk installation and I'm loving it!- You guys aren't asking the real question here;
What will the update break? ;)
