Just an update, I didn't see any mermaids while my sim was scuba diving. But the mermaid he initially met is now his wife. Things move fast in sim-life! So I guess we'll see tomorrow if she has a tail in the water. Now that she's part of the family, I can see her needs are mermaid needs. So at least I know there's one in all of Isla Paradiso.
