Bowling with teens

Alice and several of her friends meet up at the bowling alley after school. They played several games, changing partners after each round. The bowling alley has just been opened so they are all pretty new at this game. Everyone had a good time, some more than others, one less than the others. Alice wonders why Joseph has to be so competitive. She thinks it might be a guy thing, but, then looks at Mitchell, Cornell and Adam and they seem to be smiling and having fun.
Alice fumes and heads over to talk with Jennifer her best friend and sister to Joseph.
"Your brother is a big clown! she mutters.
"I even made a strike this time and what do I get but a big fat finger stuck in my face telling me how to bowl just because Cornell and Maggie scored higher. We were not competing! Just having fun. Now, he's mad and I'm madder."
Jennifer sighs and asks "Do you want me to go smack him around for you? I will!"
Alice giggles and acts like she is thinking it over "No, but I'm not talking to the clown anymore tonight"
They head upstairs to the pizza parlor and enjoy some pizza and lasagna. Alice sits with Cornell, Adam and Jennifer to avoid having to talk with Joseph.
