A Prom to Remember
Part 1
Gardenia hugs Alice tightly as Victor sets up the camera to take prom pictures. She cannot believe her baby girl looks so adult in her new dress. The last few days have been so busy they have not even had time to talk about Joseph cancelling on the prom and going away for the weekend. Gardenia knows Alice will have to work this out herself and make some decision about the relationship as it seems pretty rocky and unhappy lately. She sighs and wishes she could make Alice's life perfect for her, but, that wouldn't be life. She tells Alice they will talk in the morning. Gardenia has spent some time chatting with Adam when he visits, and he seems like a nice young man she thinks. She is happy that he is such a good friend to Alice that he agreed to take her to the prom.
