A Prom to Remember
Part 2
As the gym doors close behind them Alice spins in a circle happily singing the words from her favorite song the band played. Adam smiles watching her face as she spins again. He takes her by the arm and they decide to walk back to Alice's house. It isn't far and they should get there before curfew. They stop every few yards chatting about the night.
Alice exclaims in wonder "Sandra and Mitch were dancing together a lot. I saw them getting cozy over near the city skyline props. Do you think they will be going steady now?"
Adam nods "I saw Mitch in the men's room and he said he had asked her. She said yes. I saw Jennifer dancing several slow dances with Bill, are they an item" questioned Adam.
Alice replies "Not yet, but I do believe she is working on it. Bill has commitment issues."
They stroll up the walkway to Alice's home and suddenly Alice runs to the back garden. Adam follows wondering what she is up to.
