@Charlottesmom You are awesome to read all that and such wonderful comments. I thank you very much and yes, Autumn will have her story too. I read lots of fantasy, occult books and in some of them the souls are joined, and I think it is an awesome idea. In a few the joined will die if something happens to the other. In some they just go into a powerful decline, sort of a half life state. I think choosing the first helps explain why Victor is no longer working for the council.
