The Day After Prom

Part One

Alice took Jillian and Josef to the beach for the morning. She has strict instructions from her parents to be back at the house at 2pm with Adam to discuss the situation. Alice called Adam on the way to the beach and he agrees to meet her at the beach. They are both a little awkward at first, not really sure what to say to each other. Alice told him about her parents wanting to meet with them this afternoon. Adam agrees to come and meet with her parents. They walk up the beach as they talk. Adam suddenly stops, reaches out and hugs Alice tightly to him. The physical contact breaks the tension and they both start talking at once, they laugh and just like that the awkwardness is gone.

Adam looks at Alice's beautiful face, "I've loved you since I met you, but, could only be your friend. I want to be more than your friend. Do you want that as well?"
"I love you Adam" Alice tells him. "I said last night that you are mine and I am yours and that is what I want"
Adam reminds her "Joseph will be back tomorrow night. Do you want me to go with you?"
"No" replies Alice "I will talk with him tomorrow evening"

Adam starts to pull her into his arms when Jillian and Josef start calling for them to join them in the water.
He smiles ruefully, "This might feel like the right time, but, this is not the right place. Lets go play with the kids"
