Ignore the Cake
One of Alice's chores is taking care of Clarabelle. Her Dad asks her to make sure Adam is introduced and knows the do's and don't's when dealing with a cowplant.
"See that cake? That means Clarabelle is hungry. If you try to take the cake, Clarabelle will eat you. Ignore the cake."
Adam looks at Clarabelle and back at Alice, "Eat me! What is this thing"
"Shhhh" Alice hushes Adam, "Don't hurt her feelings. She is a cowplant. Very rare and very dangerous. The fence is magically guarded and only certain people are allowed inside the fence for safety. I can add your name if you would like"
Adam grins "Sure"
