@emorrill , Claire just thinks Richie doesn't care (Rafael really doesn't) you'll see in the next update which will be mostly Jared/Richie/Claire but also some Connor thrown in.
**I specifically picked Richie due to his Family Oriented trait...yup kinda Thronton and Morgana reversed, maybe Richie should hook up with Morgana...no no no no! She will be showing up in a future update...
**Sorry about your kitty, pets getting hit in the road is a terrible way to go and terrible for kids to discover. When I first wrote down Claire gets a cat, Jared meets her when the cat gets run over' I though it would be a great way to meet, but so sad.

I actually did have to kill off Nips, she is tucked in my Bin though for safe keeping. Though if I had a brain in my head the gravestones for pets are in buydebug...Nips ghost will visit now though so that could be good.

Misunderstood Part 28:

Early the next morning Claire couldn't sleep Richie was not in bed and Claire was wondering where he had gone, though sometimes he went on early morning runs so she wasn't worried. She went out to visit Nips grave and found Richie, he was crying over the grave, it seemed he did miss Nips, this sent a jolt through Claire's heart, she was happy to see he missed her but felt sad for him also.

Jared couldn't sleep and decided to go for a walk, Claire's cat dying had stirred up some sadness about his dad's death. Jared still carried around a great deal of guilt, even though his mother told him it wasn't his fault and to never think that every time Jared tried to talk to her about it. It also didn't help cheer him up that every time he tried to talk to Pearl she either hung up the phone or ignored him at school. his life was not in a happy place right now.

He found himself down by Claire's house...and in full view of Claire and her husband or boyfriend kissing over by the grave.

Jared's stomach twisted, he started feeling funny like he may throw up and had to leave, he ran as fast as he could not really understanding what was wrong with him.

Claire called him and asked if he could come over later, Richie and Rafael were both at work and Claire needed to talk to someone.

Jared asked her what they were going to do with Nips cats stuff, would she feel better if he moved the items into the cellar? This of course got Claire started crying again.

Jared was sick of seeing Claire cry, he wanted to see her smile, there was something about Claire he really liked, he already considered her a friend even though they just met.

He told her he would move the items but that he had to leave right after as he had soccer practise, he really had the day off practise but had to get home and call Pearl again, he knew she would reject him yet again but he just kept trying.

He gave Claire a quick hug gathered up the cat items, stored them in the cellar and headed for home, it was nice to hug Claire, he wished Pearl would hug him like Claire did, but Pearl seemed to want nothing to do with him ever since his verbal diarrhea ruined everything.

Claire was okay with it for awhile but then she decided it was not what she needed right now. Richie kept kissing her until she finally kicked him away, he was shocked.

"Fine!" was all he said..Claire took that as her cue to sleep on the couch.

Rafael heard the rucus from his room and decided to go talk to Claire..

@Charlottesmom Interesting update :smile: I realised that at some point I got Rafael mixed up with Claire when I asked where you got that hairstyle. It was Claire's hairstyle I was interested in lol

@king_of_simcity7 , LOL!! (Getting Claire mixed up with Rafael... ;) ), I’ll have to check when I go in game tomorrow, I am pretty sure it was from the store and was in a set.

@Charlottesmom I did think that it was an unusual name for a woman! :D I might have to browse the store and see if I can find it

Misunderstood Part 29:

Jared had rushed home from Claire's house last night and tried to call Pearl, her phone went right to the message which most likely meant she was on the phone, a good sign he thought. He tried again after 10 minutes she answered...

"Hello Jared"...
"How did you know it was me..?" He asked surprised
"Caller ID..." she answered then added "I want to talk to you, to tell you why you freaked me out so much can you meet me up by the fishing pond tomorrow after school?"
Jared was shocked..."Um, sure..."
"Good, I'll see you then.." and she hung up.

They met the next day..

He spied her across the pond fishing..

"Can't say I know him all that well, I have seen him around school..want me to push him around for you?" Jared was thinking that he would love to bash Thornton's face in.

Jared cringed, he felt sick...he had seen Jamie and Thornton making out behind the school just last week..the anger was rising..he had to reel it in. "My sister..." he growled out..

They stood there for a few minutes each in their own thoughts. Pearl finally broke the silence.."I'll miss you Jared, I didn't know you that well but I really will miss you. But I really can't wait to get out of this town."

Connor had also made the soccer team and was constantly practising down at the park.

Much to his surprise Belle White had come over to talk to him, he couldn't believe it, one of the most popular girls in school talking to him!
