Thanks! I'm ashamed to say the lad is still a kid (I play way too little...), but his mom's generation is reaching its end now and I'm leaning toward Appaloosa Plains as well. I need a 60x60 (or 64x64) lot and I won't hesitate to bulldoze one if there is no empty one available.
