Sandraelle Try again now. I've helped a couple other users unstick their threads by "editing" them, e.g. creating and deleting a couple new lines. Try one edit at a time as well—sometimes the problem is not editing itself but too many changes, or new or edited links, at once.
EA people are looking into the issue in general, so you can flag your thread to them in the Feedback forum, or I'll pass along any relevant info if you prefer.
SolitaryBeing Your thread has now been moved over, finally. Again, no idea whether that was me or someone else, but at least it's done.
puzzlezaddict, Sorry, I didn't have any luck. I've tried doing the one edit at a time many times before, but it doesn't make a difference.
I did notice in my thread that I had a whole bunch of dates listed in the OP that converted weirdly, e.g., inserting a fraction in place of a number, so was wondering if that was making it stuck. So I went in and edited all of them, but no luck.
I would appreciate it if you could pass along the info for me and have my thread flagged as well. Thank you so much! 😀
Sandraelle I've flagged your thread and mentioned that my fake edits didn't make a difference. At this point, this is more about gathering data than a targeted fix, but hopefully it helps overall.
The dates showing as fractions are just a reflection of how the site shows some numbers. I noticed a couple weeks ago and got confirmation that nothing was broken. It even changes in real time if you write it out. It apparently only applies to halves and quarters though.

eight-slash-five 8/5puzzlezaddict, I just wanted to say thank you for your help and to let you know that EA_David helped me figure out the issues with my showcase thread not publishing my edits. It had to do with some weird bolding within the bulleted lists, so he stripped it down to basic html and sent me the text content. I ended up deleting the entire main post of my thread and have started replacing bits and pieces and it started publishing. 😀
