CC can be a real mystery sometimes. I had two pieces of CAS cc (an accessory and a hair) from two very trusted cc creators and when I put them on my sims in CAS - creating new family - and then tried to move them into a new home, the game crashed. Took me forever to figure out what was going on (had to run to @Igazor cause I was in a panic. :p ) I removed those two cc items when recreating them and voila I was able to move them into a home just fine. Weird huh?

It's like, you test all your cc through the Dashboard, it tells you all is fine, and you always clear your caches before running the game with new cc in it, so you THINK you're doing right by your game, and then something still manages to make it crash... :confounded: I'm like, "What gives!?"

*If anyone ever finds themselves in this situation, and you can't live without that certain piece of cc, do what Igazor told me...create your sims with the bare minimum stuff in CAS (I would say no cc and don't give them occult status), move them into a house, THEN dress them up how you want and set occult status via MC - Edit in CAS when you're playing them in Live mode. :star:

Sorry, I've been offline all weekend because our WIFI box was struck by lightening. Got back online a little while ago.

The mod I had was this, but I also had a random genetics mod.

ETA: I don't have either mod anymore and my game only crashed once since taking both out. Yesterday I spent pretty much the whole afternoon playing TS3.

@HillyBeth Darn, that's the preggo mod I have in my game too. :neutral: I haven't experienced any crashes except for the one I mentioned happening lately. I may take it out for now (cause no one is preggo or getting pregnant in my gameplay anytime soon) and see if I can move sims in with certain cc items on them in CAS after all. :p

I debated adding that random genetics mod to my game, I wanted to test it first. Haven't gotten around to it...too busy writing. :mrgreen: Good to know it's a culprit as well.

I love the random genetics mod, but having it with the pregnancy mod installed is what's causing the crashing. So I took both out.

CmarNYC's Pregnancy Controller mod (by itself, I mean) is fine to use and is compatible with all things NRaas.
