@igazor This is actually the first time I have ever had this issue. I guess I've been lucky. The reason I dislike it so much is that there is almost always someone at home, and I am usually busy with the sim(s) already at home and don't notice when another sim or sims arrive from work or school, unless they come inside the house. On low free will, they just stand out there doing nothing, which wastes time I would prefer having them make better use of.
I guess I should probably remove the gate in front of their old house for the benefit of whoever might move into it in the future.
