I hope this is still relevant
I have read in several places that the in-game option 'memories' should be shut off for better game performance, and that sims brought through the library from one world to another come equipped with their already made ones, if ever played. So maybe make sure that you have memories off before you transfer them, to save your game from future problems, and check the sims for any already made ones first.
It was doable to save the cemetary in Aurora Skies to the library (it is very pretty), but I have not placed it in another world, I think that any problems in its original world would catch a ride (but maybe it would be fun to have a need for ghost busters ). I am sure someone can correct me on this of wrong. Maybe any problems would be avoided by starting a new save only for copying lots to the library, and from worlds with less documented problems.
The cemetary in AS has a lot of small grave stones without names, with the generic text 'remains', that were easily picked up/put down. Purely decorational of course. The other place I remember seeing them is in build/buy while buydebug-cheating, probably in section decorations, other.
Turning off memories does improve performance yes. You can transfer sims from one world to another with no problems even if they have memories.
Unless the lot itself was corrupted there should be no problems transferring lots between worlds.
Other than routing issues I'm not aware of any problems with Aurora Skies and routing issues can't catch a ride from a lot. Although if the lot has items placed badly that need to be rearranged it can seem like it.
*Edit*
Almost forgot when you save a copy of a graveyard to the bin the game removes the ghosts in that copy.
