For that budget, you can pretty much get whatever you want, at least as far as Sims games go. But you don't need to spend nearly that much. I didn't do a thorough search, but this laptop, $1,200 plus an additional $100 rebate, is overkill for both games. It has a much stronger processor and a faster graphics card than you'd need, 16 GB RAM, and a 512 GB solid state drive.

This one is still good enough for both games, although I personally would upgrade the 8 GB RAM. (It has the same graphics card and hard drive, and its processor, although weaker, is still more than strong enough.) It looks like there's a significant discount too.
