Evening ladies and gentlemen. My name's Aellanii because my first choice, Ettienne, was taken! You could say I'm semi-new to the Sims. The most experience I had was with Sims 2 for the PS2. I'd bought Sims 3 when it came out for PC, but could never get it to work on our old desktop. Years later, I find it in my drawer and think, "Hmm, worth a try?" Thus far I'm really loving the game, definitely replacing Sims 2 in my heart.
I'm actually quite shy, but online you'll find I can be quite the talker. I had an unfortunate CC accident only 2 weeks into getting restarted with the Sims 3 and lost my little town, so now I'm wary of almost everything that's not Store Content. Almost! That fiasco did however bring out the DIY-er in me. Rather download that pretty house, I attempt to build it to suit myself!
And to answer your questions:
1. What is your favorite EP/SP and why?
I don't have any, but think I'd enjoy Seasons, Pets, and Supernatural!
2. What is your favorite thing about the game?
Thus far, building and designing patterns. To be honest, I haven't even started playing with a family yet.
3. Do you play with cheats? If so, which ones?
Most often MOO and CFE. I don't know how anyone could build or decorate with them!
4. Do you have any tips/tricks you'd like to share?
Save and save often. Keep at least two saves of the same world/build. If one fails to save properly, even with the backup, you'll feel better knowing you took an extra precaution. And hey, while you're at it, keep your whole file saved as a backup. It'll save you time and agony, trust me, I've been there.
5. Did you buy the Sims 4? If so, what are your favorite and least favorite things?
Nope! And after reading reviews/watching gameplay footage, I don't think I will.
