Nraas question

Is there any new updates for any of the Nraas mods? I keep getting the error traps and my game crashes. Out of curiosity, I looked at the most recent one tonight and it mentioned some things I'm unfamiliar with and some of the Nraas mods. When I looked at my mods the dates on them range from 2013 to 2015. Can anyone help me? I don't want to share the error trap here because it listed an unmentionable mod.
I deleted cache files and uninstalled some of my store content but the game keeps crashing anyway. I even save it more often but that's not helping either.
I have the mods that are supposed to help with crashes, but I think those might be out of date too?
I'm tired of the crashes that the mods are supposed to help with.

Can anyone help me please?
If there are no new updates for the mods what can I do? I can't be the only one who has this issue.
  • Here is a list of the updates to NRaas mods to date, in reverse chronological order (most recent first going backwards). You will see that many of them have been updated several times in the past few years. If you really haven't updated your mods since 2013-15, you might want to redownload all of the ones you use and replace what you have with current copies especially since the list doesn't go back quite far enough for you.

Support for NRaas mods including interpretation of ErrorTrap and other script logs is and always has been provided at NRaas.

(Free Wikispaces account and NRaas membership, that's two steps, required to upload and open a support thread)
(Yes, we know Wikispaces is shutting down but that doesn't affect us until the end of Sept and we will have moved to our new site by then, so the warnings can be dismissed)

But if your mods are that out of date, and possibly never intended to be used for your current patch level if they go back that far, we are going to recommend updating everything first as the script logs will reveal that.

Wow. I totally forgot about this. I guess I know what I'm doing tomorrow afternoon. I mean, before I can't.

Our moving to our new site by Oct 1 isn't going to prevent you from updating your mods at a later time. Nor will it prevent new mod versions from being released in the future, even though the patches have long since stopped being pushed out.

Those who attempt to access the existing site after the shutdown should be redirected to the new one automatically, at least for as long as we can arrange that.

I keep seeing this. I understand it defeats the purpose to ask about it, but how do you search for something that is unnamed?

When players say this with respect to NRaas mods, it usually means one that begins with the letter "W" that is not permitted to be discussed on this forum under EA's rules. And it's not WrittenWord, it's the other one.
  • Haha! Okey, thank you, that was a good laugh! I am deeply fascinated by this game and its context in real life.
  • I started getting some errors recently and suspected my NRaas Mods were overdue for another update which has been done.I ran a test on my 100 baby challenge and the game ran so fast I thought I'd missed a few of my Mods.I looked in my NRaas folder and found that wasn't the case and my file count went up.Storybrook County is running a lot faster.
