Nraas Story Progression takes away all singles

If you click on the City Hall, you can go to:
Nraas>Story Progression>General Options>Romance>Speed
Change the speed to a bigger number; that's the number of sim minutes between new romances. You should do the same for the flirts category.

Yeah I found something like that. Personally I think it would be more use if the program would be set to leave a certain percentage of sims free, because even when it is slower it will end up using all abailable sims. But I doubt the mod will still be updated so I will have to stick with this for now.

I used tagger with sim tags enabled, colored by relationship status. It found only about 10 or so singles. 2 of them were near elder paparazzis camping outside of my sims house. No go. The rest were ALL female. I guess I'm going to have to hang around school and befriend teens before they age up or get back on not wanting to break someone up.... what a dilemma, lol!

You have to work fast when you have Nrass SP. I used to have my sims get into a relationship within a week of becoming a teen/being put into the game. Now, I just start new games with 2 sims, boyfriend and girlfriend. As for their children, that's where it gets harder.

That is something I hadn't expected, and I wonder if this needs tweaking and if the current mod authors would look into it. On a sidenote, what makes you keeping the mod in your game even though this issue arrives?

Idk, I guess I'm just normally too impatient to get to the 2nd generation being teens, even on medium lifespan. However, without Nraas story progression, there would be no other teens at all.

Seems like two very opposite ends, lol! I think I'm going to tag some interesting teen just before he ages uo. She eats so much lifefruit, becoming an utimate sim, that they will be the same age anyways.

If I find a sim or potential sims to pair up with mine, I use SP to turn off romance individually until my sim is ready. I usually have a partner chosen by the time my sim and potential partner are children, sometimes as early as toddler.

Hi there. This discussion would probably be a bit better if it were taking place at NRaas. We still support the mods and development on them has never stopped. We are always happy to entertain new ideas for the mods and fix things that are or become broken, but this is really more an issue of fine-tuning the mod to get it to manage things in line with what the player wants. Or, to put it bluntly, we probably aren't going to change the default settings for SP right away because some players whose sims are trying to find mates would prefer it. But we do actually have a new version of SP in beta testing right now. ;)

We think that Twallan (our founder, now retired) just hated the idea of inactive sims around town remaining single for long and yes, on default settings this rampant partnering up will tend to happen too quickly for many players' tastes. It's all adjustable though, and we can help you with the settings you might prefer a bit better over there.

Whether we want to talk about slowing down the Romance Manager -- by the way, that setting is for sim minutes in between cycles of the Manager, not how long it takes the mod to partner up the next sim exactly -- or how to reserve a class of soon to become of age sims so that a pool for dating remains available, it's all doable. Many players over there will have different ideas and ways in which they have arranged these things in various worlds.

The whole point of much of the NRaas suite of mods, but especially StoryProgression, is that so much customization is available. This isn't a real "issue" that by itself should be preventing players from enjoying the mods, it's an example of the default settings perhaps not exactly fitting in with everyone's style of play.

Thanks I will look into that tomorrow as it is currently 1am here. I do get why it was set up that way. I do need to add that my having no prior experience with ts3 probably didnt help flagging down a possible match in time!
