Odd things happening in game!

As an overview, lag has been good and minimal. However, I find that whenever trying to have my two sims woohoo, whether it be interacting with the bed/other object, or with each other, the interaction will just disappear and I'll get an error with the bed. After moving nrass woohooer, the problem didn't happen anymore. Despite this, an overarching problem is the fact that upon saving, exiting the game, and starting it back up and loading the save, my sims will have NO relationships, even the two that live together will now be strangers and have no other relationships. Alongside this, I'm not able to control one sim anymore, I can click her icon to pan to her, but I can't control her or see any of her needs and so forth.

I've tried starting a brand new game, inputting the sims from the saved sims fresh, and loading them into the world and it still happens, so I don't think it is a save game issue. I'm playing in a fixed bridgeport. I'm pretty confused about why this is happening, this is the first time I've ever had issues with this.
