Thanks for the reminder although it's quite disturbing how quickly time passes-)
I love everything about 3, I looked forward to all the live streams and sheer amount of content we got with all the packs :) - texxx785 years agoSeasoned Ace

Yes, time passes so fast! I didn't remember it was 12 years ago, which means my baby was born already and yet i remember that i was excited like a little child when it came out :) - Jaletu5 years agoNew AceI remember so well excitedly driving to the local Game stop and snapping up the deluxe copy. Had a nice plumbob USB drive and a big green Prima guide. I was in heaven! And the gameplay was so wonderful.
- HAPPY BIRTHDAY THE SIMS 3!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3
Without The Sims 3, I would never ever discover this franchise, and the marketing for it was so good. With Iphone game (The first game I played in The Sims) makes me cry because of nostalgia. And woahhh, those days when the billboards are filled with Let There Be Sims!
Thank You For Being a Part of My Life The Sims 3, and I will never be in this forums if it wasn't for the game. I really love it <3 - ChocoCub5 years agoSeasoned AceI was still quite young when it came out in 2009 that I couldn’t play it but felt really excited about the open world feature it promised as it was still a relatively novel concept among games in 2009 :)
- I was excited as heck to play it! It was everything I had dreamed of! (An open world sims game! :star: )
- ZombiePary5 years agoSeasoned AceI'll never forget how it felt to actually follow my sim as she got into the car pool, and drove to work. Other sims were out walking, or driving, and I was utterly fascinated by the fact that I could take my sim anywhere within the boundaries of the entire world, not just one lot.
And being able to go across the road, or next door to visit the neighbours was just so exciting. The whole town felt really alive. - AstroX14245 years agoSeasoned NewcomerWhen I first played the game (I want to say in 2010) I remember the laptop I used was definitely not meant for gaming. I think it had 4gb of ram, Intel HD Graphics :s . Anyway, the game would crash like every 20 minutes, but I remember I would save like every 5 minutes.
I used to put up with a lot just to be able to play the game. Now, that’s obviously different, but, I have done a lot to make sure my game runs and looks the best it possibly can. So I really do love this game! - Babykittyjade5 years agoSeasoned Ace

I was quite young with an old laptop my uncle gave me that couldn't handle it. But this post right here describes my exact feelings when I first played it. The feeling of being free as a bird. I'll never forget running on the beach with my pet dog to the ocean and I was in another world like????? until it crashed and ended lol. - Sharooonia5 years agoSeasoned AceI felt sad cause my computer couldn't run it, I had been so excited for it too after following all the development of it and already being a huge fan of the Sims 2. I loaded the game and it looked like my graphics card had exploded, not even a new PC could run it well enough so I stopped playing for years until the Sims 4 Seasons released.
It's taken 12 years but I am finally able to play and enjoy the game. :D
