Once a junkyard always a junkyard?

Hi, I'm having a minor issue with a lot.
I'm playing Isla Paradiso and I deleted the junkyard and changed it into a regular lot and put a house on it.
Only now junk keeps periodically appearing in the yard. Almost everyday a table or a bookshelf or a tv or phone or a stereo appears.
All are blackened and non-functional and have zero value. It's like my sim is being haunted by the former junkyard.
Is this fixable? Does she need a ghost-buster? A furniture-buster? Should she worry?
