I'm currently in the midst of filling up a town and I only recently added this water tower in one of the parts of the world. I'm going for a cozy and country small town feel and, of course, water towers are usually a must. But I'm just not quite sure if it suits the world so here I am asking all of your opinions :)Here are the pics I have of the tower from various aspects. I see every world through the eyes of a survivor during a zombie virus outbreak.That tower would be perfect as a sniper nest and it is located right next to the grocery store where you can find supplies.Only issue is the proximity to the hospital which become hotspots during the opening days of an epidemic and the area will be swarming with walkers. :| I mean umm yes it is cute keep it https://i.imgur.com/IsSpDDq.gif

This small town looks absolutely beautiful, and the water tower seems right at home in it. I can imagine it being one of those landmarks all the townfolk know, that young lovers might run off and meet under, and it would appear in the background of everyone's old photos so you'd know exactly where in town a photo was taken based on the distance from it. Definitely keep it! And I agree with CravenLestat, very useful in a zombie apocalypse. :p

On a purely practical note, what exactly are your sims supposed to do for clean water if you were to remove the tower? :o

I’m probably the only one who said to ditch the tower but it looked good in the pictures I just thought it should be slightly more modern

I'm glad you're keeping the water tower. I know we want our worlds to look pretty but in real life i don't think there is any ideal location. :D This makes your gameplay look more realistic.

How do you take your pictures at an angle like that? Are you using a mod?

No mods at all! I only found out about this trick in the past year or two.

All you have to do is go into cameraman mode through the Tab button, and then all you have to do is Shift and press either the A,S, D, or E keys to tilt the screen.

You’ll have to experiment so you get a feel for what they do. If I remember right shift + a you tilt left and shift + d you tilt right. Shift + s and the screen corrects itself and goes back to normal.

Love your garage/junk yard. The way you have created lots for this town makes it feel like on old country town. What world is this?

The world is Saint Greer Islands. The town is an empty one, however.

I really love how pretty everything is there. There is some custom lighting, meshed 3D grass and flowers, and other default recolors that are included in the world file. My favorites are the 3D grass and flowers because they add so much more realness or authenticity to any lot you make so that even though they may be CC, it's worth it :p
