Phone won't stop ringing?

Here I am again with another glitch and this time a quite annoying one. My sim answered her phone and then she got no response. Then the phone started to ring again and when I tried to answer it, there was no way to reset it. She has a blog that she updates regularly, could that be the reason? She gets daily donations.

How have I tried to resolved it?

Tried to go into edit town and change households- Didn't work
Reset sims in the town- 2 times
Tried to reset the sim- Did, but didn't stopped the ringing
Silenced the phone and unsilence it- Still ringing

According to Crinrict's page on this issue...

    • Wait for an incoming call (switching household to force call doesn't count)
    • Silence the phone and then unsilence.
    • Exit game and clear cache files.
    • Change world by traveling to uni or any other travel destination.
    • Reset the sim using NRaas: MasterController
    • Reset the phone with NRaas: MasterController or NRaas: DebugEnabler

As for the missing pregnant moodlet... others have reported the pregnancy should continue regardless. I would reset the sim using NRaas: MasterController if you haven't already.
  • And I would also suggest, no demand, that you have backup saves. Okay, I can't really "demand" that effectively ( ;) ). But playing this game without safe points of retreat should something go wrong is never a good idea unless you don't really care if ongoing saves become unplayable. It's just too fragile for that.

I decided to skip the scolding part about always having a backup but this is good advice. ;)

  • So, just tried to change households and my game has gone crazy. I made Beau phone the sim who is affected by the phone. The chat work, so I went back to the household. When I went back, there was only two toddlers in the house when there was three. Then it glitched out and went to 1 and then to 0 and then back to three. Then a babysitter came when there was a teen in the house. My game has been so weird....
  • At the point where the phone wouldn't stop ringing, I would have tried a Save As (different save file name), quit entirely to the Desktop or Origin, and loaded the game again. If still no good, then that would probably be the time to revert to a prior save from before this happened.

Done a save as and now going to try it!

Nope. Still ringing, I have no other save as back up. I just see if it will resolve.

So now I just found out she is pregnant , but I didn't get the notification nor is the moodlet appearing.

I decided to play until she had the baby which turned out to be triplets. NIGHTMARE, she already had a set of triplets that were toddlers. I know I should, I just forget to make a backup save.
