Playing entire neighborhood for first time - questions

So for the first time since TS3 came out, I am playing an entire neighborhood and doing it rotationally (THANK YOU @igazor!). I created 6 founding families and got them moved in to 6 cheap houses. I'...

@Rhiannon58 Usual stuff after vacations for me were broken or stuck pregnancies, bugged out objects on the home lot (beds etc.), mixed up clothes (my sims lose their career outfits on every vacation), etc. A town reset was often necessary after a vacation. Interestingly, university visits sometimes fixed the broken career outfits. Good on you if you never had issues like that.
