Plumbbot & general help needed
The search feature didn't help so... Am once again trying TS3 out and have hit another snag. My sim has made it to the future world and has been asked to greet a plumbot and then ask it what is it...

Lots of things learned since last post. EA definitely stiffing me as I have all 20 packs (counted noses & matched against a master list) but the game shows only 11, so there's another problem to solve. The game is installed on an older machine, but since it can't plug into the current monitor (newer so cables different - yea :( ) exploration must wait. I've a YA sim with only 3 traits (no idea how that happened, made too long ago) and can't fix. The relevant cheats given in the Prima guide and on Carl's site use the word 'modify', and the game says that is an unknown command. Did EA begin TS4 style trait removal back then? The cheat window seems bugged, as can't get out with 'exit' and everything in the game is locked with the window open. On the other hand am gaining a considerably increased appreciation for the open world. As suggested, going on foot seems the way to go to find things and learn one's way around.
