Pole Dancing? Has this been Confirmed?

Please excuse me for bringing this up... But this I agree with. Pole dancing can be done without being that sexual and actually be done in a way that is rather spectacular. Seen a few poledancing shows where clothing coming off was never going to happen, and typically that poledancing is better than what strippers do.

Oh, and IIRC, most belly dancing isn't sexual at all. It's been sexualized, but it actually has very nonsexual roots. I'm a big fan of it myself, simply because of the sheer skill it involves. Especially if they get blades or the like involved.

it is when kids as young as 7 play the sims
and yes pole dancing and belly dancing can be done in a non gross way but the way its being worded and the fact that it's a sheer rumor and that fact that people would get the wrong idea i know this wont be added
belly dancing on the other hand would be a possibility i have pure repect for anyone who can do it takes hardcore stomach muscles. but since when does belly dancing involve taking off clothes now ? unless i missed something

Since Hollywood got ahold of it. They're the ones who are entirely responsible for the pervy side of belly dancing in the modern era.

At this point I'd be happy just to get the Slowdance back. If this isn't included I'm going to be very disappointed. This is EA's opportunity to bring it back and a lot of fans have been asking for it.

Hell, why not bring them all back? All of them were good dances.

Plus, I really want to see sims slap dancing to music in Sims 3 :lol:

I was thinking of that. Since NL had a DJ and a group dance, The Smustle, I'm wondering since they brought back the DJ, maybe a new group dance like Thriller? Or The Smustle again.

I'm not sure if the slow dance would fit in but they may have added it. I think later they may plan to do an EP revolving around a non rabbithole dance studio, where sims can learn to dance in various styles. At least I can only dream since there was a survey with that option, Dance Studio. I picked that one.

I'd like to point out that this is a T rated game so kids as young as 7 shouldn't be playing it to begin with. I don't let my 11 year old sister play it.

That being said, I'm not desperate for pole dancing to be introduced, although it would make a cool addition considering what little content this EP has.
