I could have sworn I uploaded a bunch of pictures last night after spending time tweaking PLF and working on the honeymoon cabin but when I logged in this AM to grab them and post, I only found two new pics uploaded. GRR. So this is only half a report

From the overhead shoot -- you can see the new layout of Port Angeles
So, now a tour of the port area of Port La Forks. From the top Left -
1. Backlot
2. Exclusive Club
The exclusive club is likely going to be moved -- set back a bit from the road and put on a bigger lot. The orientation will change so the front faces the road and the back looks out over the water. I want to give it a more secluded feel.
#3 -- The "hook" of land -- there will be a light house -- probably the one from Sunset Valley with the the lighthouse effect added and a lot -- not sure what that lot will be -- current options: Museum, Restaurant, placeholder for Island Paradise for boating? I am going to wait and see.
And moving clockwise still, you come to ...
#4 "Varg's Tavern" -- Which is no longer Varg's Tavern. But I love the building and it fits with my warehouse / wharf-ey area, so its there for now until I figure out what to do with it.
I will be placing the docks (from Bridgeport?) in the hollow between Vargs and the warehouses on the road.
#5 -- Twilight Dance Club -- just below Varg's. Completely renovated. I am thinking of moving it closer to town and moving #6 to this spot.
#6 - along the water, that first warehouse is the Criminal hideout / Shipping company. Its currently a place holder lot.
#7 - the building with the tan roof -- Vampire Club in what used to be an old hotel -- the Hotel DuMort (any guess to the inspiration for the name?) I am still toying with the idea of moving it to Forks -- but I don't think the old hotel theme would work in Forks.
#8 & # 9 - the building across from the Hotel duMort and next to the criminal warehouse is a dive bar and next to that is the tattoo parlor.
#10 - the small white lot is the current location of La Bella Italia -- but it will likely get moved. I am trying to position both it and the bookstore so that you have to pass the "rough" area to get from one to the other and I don't quite like how they are positioned right now.
#11 -- moving north on the road, you come to the Dress Shop (Salon) and the spa.
#12 - this is a placeholder lot with the Bookstore. Not sure what kind of shop I am going to pair it with. I may just make a facade and fake a door and leave it for future development.
SimLucy -- you can see the stream in this shot between the Cullen House and the Honeymoon Cottage. I need to do some terrain editing though to make it more stream-ish and less gully-ish.
Oh -- and hear is a shot of the cabin facade --

it looks rather unspectacular at the moment without any landscaping, etc. I am going to try some experimental hieght-map/painting-manipulation to make the ground more textured so that paint can make the ferns coverage with only a few plants -- otherwise that one lot might will be impossible for a sim to manage and still look like the movie set.
BTW -- seriously cursing EA for the lack of ground cover plants. I might have to get Island Paradise just for the ferns if it has them. GRRRR.
Hmmm.. did seasons come with any more ferns type plants?
